About

Pronouns: she/her

I am a Bradford born and bred multidisciplinary visual artist, working across painting, collage, photography and digital art. I studied Fine Art at Newcastle University and graduated in 2020. Throughout my artist career so far, I have exhibited in places such as Bradford, Leeds, Newcastle, Consett, Doncaster and Cambridge. I am now one of Bradford Arts Centre’s Arts and Heritage Officers at Keighley Creative, and run Trapezium Arts online gallery.

My practice explored themes of nostalgia, youth culture and the aesthetics of hedonism. Through layered processes, I aim to evoke a sense of dreamy retrospection-where memory bleeds into fantasy.

Pink appears throughout much of my work- not just as a colour, but as a kind of cultural code. It becomes a lens to explore the glow of nostalgia. Working across different mediums allows me to constantly reimagine my images and ideas. My work looks at how memory distorts, how particular aesthetics can either soothe or provoke, and how prettiness can exist without apology. For me, pink embodies a kind of post-prettiness-a way of engaging with beauty and memory both critically and fondly.
